You really aren't saving any money, filters are rated for 3000 gallons which was not mentioned, Berkey filters are listed for 6000 gallons. Update, I just bought a Zerowater filter system, it outputs zero PPM, that's how a good filter should work. I noticed that these filters do nothing but clean the ppm water.
