It's hard to tell how well this product works. Once applied it wasn't slippery like some of the other comments. Maybe my roof is getting old. Being a Dicor product I wanted too much to turn it down. I've always been impressed with their other products. It's hard to say whether or not this sealant is worth applying without comparing it to what is without it. Update: My first car was over 10 years old and was getting a little chalky so it was hard to tell if it worked. It may already have been damaged. Now I have a new one so let's see if it protects. Again, this suggests applying once a month. Don't think it will happen. I wash my roof regularly about 3 times a year and apply Roof Gard after each wash. I've had this motorhome for a little over a year and have noticed that even under solar panels it has lost its brilliant white appearance so hopefully it's just aging and not UV damage. I applied it to my black fender skirt and it leaves a distinct white film as opposed to the white roof which is difficult to see. When it comes to protective gear, you are at the mercy of the manufacturer who has tested it extensively. Time. Dicor is a reputable company so I'm hoping for the best and will be back with updates.
