Leaks, licks, licks

Every time I thought I'd fixed a leak it would start again, even with more Teflon tape. The threads in the metal supply hose may be cut too sharply to ever connect to the plastic internals of the system. Judging by other reviews, this is a long-standing and persistent problem.
