The product works perfectly, I don't know why the card is telling you to place the monitors at such an extreme angle. I honestly think it's a mistake. these things work better than the picture where my bezels are lined up, the distortion is 0 as you can see in the picture, you can look straight into the crack and both pictures match perfectly. This is a very underrated product but yes its a little key card that tells you how to angle, throw away and set them like the angle in my picture and they will work great.
