It's nice to be surprised by the results!

I bought this mainly out of curiosity. The science made sense to me, and all of these "collagen" products are a bunch of bullshit considering your skin can't absorb and use collagen the way it imbeds it in your skin. I was skeptical about 3 things.1. I was afraid it might be dangerous in terms of infections. I know our skin is full of bacteria and that can easily spread it. For a home product, are the needles long enough that I can really do anything? 3. Will I have small red bleeding spots all over my face? and if so, how long will they be there? That's what I found out (I bought the product about 6 months ago and use it about once or twice a month, sometimes I forget and don't use it for a while)1. I use rubbing alcohol to clean my tools and give your face a deep clean before using it. I haven't had any major problems. I actually used it recently when I had a few pimples (which they are supposed not to do) and got a few more after a few days (is that idk related). I have fairly clear skin so overall this wasn't a problem but I would suggest sticking to the rule of not using it if you have a breakout. The needles are much smaller and shorter than I expected. But they seem to be useful. I get a nice glow after using it (so it probably improves circulation) and in my opinion my skin looks healthier overall, smoother, fewer lines, less scary. To be fair, I bought Eva Naturals Vitamin C Cleansing Serum with her and used it after dermarolling (it contains retinol, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and other substances that help rejuvenate skin and reduce wrinkles etc.). So it's not entirely clear if just making a skin roller would be just as beneficial. I use a no-roller serum, which is nice, but I get more drastic results when I do both! Obviously I don't really know how well it promotes collagen formation until I'm old (ie years). I'm 25 and I'm doing this to treat myself, get rid of some blemishes and honestly just to see if it helps my skin stay supple and youthful over time. Like I said, science makes sense to me, but I'll only really believe it if I try! I've also used the larger one on my thighs for cellulite. I don't think so, but I got lazy and didn't do it. But just because the needles are so tiny, I don't think they could penetrate far enough to actually change cellulite (which comes from fibrous tissue that holds fat cells together and pulls up the skin due to fat cell expansion or other reasons). . Scare). That's just my opinion and logic. If you're really worried about cellulite, am I saying it's worth trying more often? 3. These needles are not long or wide enough to cause visible pinpoints and bleeding (at least in my experience). My face turns red, which lasts for several hours. It doesn't hurt itself, but it's uncomfortable. Overall I'm very happy with the results I'm getting. I was skeptical as it seems like most beauty products are a bunch of bullshit that the marketing makes fun and whimsical. I think there's good science behind it and it's doing some good!
