Review on CURT 81277 Trailer Safety Chain Hook Carabiner Clip with Snap Hook, 7/16-Inch Diameter, 5000 lbs Capacity by Carl Givens

I ordered 2 of these chains for my trailer security chains as the old ones didn't fit properly on my new car's hitch. I was surprised when the 2 I received were not identical. One had less flex on the long side, making the latch taller and preventing it from snagging on my hitch. To fix this I cut about 1/4 inch off the attachment. You may have thought that they are the same. The tag had the same model number so I really don't know why they were different. Other than that, they feel sturdy and I'm sure they'll do just fine in an emergency. I hope I never have to find out.
