I purchased this pair of 190F water bath thermometers from my store. The temperature is not particularly critical, but I must avoid boiling. When I tested these thermometers in boiling water, they both read about 7°F (i.e. boiling water read 205°F). However, this difference is easily explained by the difference in altitude and air pressure between where they are made and where I use them. An important feature is that they both read ABSOLUTELY the same. Knowing I need to use a small correction factor, they are PERFECT for what I need and again, GREAT VALUE!
