Review on Dell U4320Q UltraSharp Business Warranty: 💻 Flicker-Free, LED, LCD, HD, IPS 4K Monitor by Ryan Olson

There are so many youtube videos, reddit posts and other stuff confusing about this monitor so i thought i would share my experience and maybe help others. My initial desktop consisted of 4 23 inch Asus monitors. They served well, but after about ten years of service it was time for an upgrade. My first decision was whether to get a 43" 16:9 monitor like this one from Dell or an ultra-wide 49" monitor. I did a lot of research between the LG/Dell/Philips/Samsung versions of these (43" and 49" monitors) to understand all the features and differences between them. Of work, vertical space is more important than horizontal space. For me, a square monitor is better. I can also split this monitor into 4 1080p 16:9 areas, which is not possible with a 49" monitor. I was between LG and Dell, I chose this Dell for the build quality, vertically adjustable stand and desired Display ports. I've always had good experiences with Dell monitors too. What I've read turned out to be wrong: 1) there's a drop in brightness in the corner of the screen and the mouse isn't visible in the corner. My Monitor is perfect and from the top left pixel to the last pixel on the right they all have the same brightness 2) The LCD on this monitor is BGR instead of RGB and the fonts look weird I'm using Windows 10 and don't need any configuration It works great and I have much better font and overall image quality than my 4 Asus 23" monitors. 3) The monitor is too big and hard to see in the corners. I am using the Dell Monitor Managers -Software that allows me to make some adjustments without having to look for the monitor buttons in the bottom right corner. I can also create 4 distribution areas on the screen to "hang" windows on. I was a bit wary because my 4 Asus were "beveled", this monitor is flat, but the IPS display is great and I don't notice or see far corners very well. Everything looks the same. 4) The monitor slows down. I even found a video on Youtube showing the slowness. I have no problem with mine. The @60HZ 4K monitor responds as fast as my computer can load data. (productivity software only, no games) 5) There is a halo around the screen. Yes, most LCS LED monitors have this as well and it is not distracting or irrelevant. My setup: Latitude 5401 I7/32GB/512GB Nvidia MX150 The laptop is connected to the monitor using the USB-C cable that came with the monitor I have my keyboard, mouse and Definitive Tech Tilt speakers connected to the USB ports on the monitor connected. My setup boiled down to using 10 cables (4 power cables + 4 DVI cables + 2 audio cables) to a USB-C Plus monitor power cable. I also connect to another laptop's monitor (I7) with 2 DP, so I can split the screen in half between the two computers or just use USB-C to use the full area of the monitor. Normally my eyes are 20 to 25 inches from the monitor. I have to move my head a bit to check the angles. But since I divide my monitor into 4 areas, I mostly concentrate on the monitor area. Cons: The only thing that would be better would be if multiple sources allowed 3 connections: 2 at the top of the monitor and 1 large wide at the bottom. Bottom. It does the opposite. There are many other different settings and configurations but not the ones I have described. Additional Notes: 1) Monitor speakers sound great! (although it's not even close to my Def Tech Inclines) You can choose the sound source 2) The box is solid if it's big and the monitor is very well packaged 3) The bottom right buttons are easy to find and close use 4 ) The thing is heavy
