Review on Barbie FXG57 Malibu House Playset by James Duffield

My very first house in Malibu at 27 - it's ok, don't judge 😀 I bought this house because I love doing and photographing scenes with little dolls and I wanted a house that I could can do more things. For the price paid I am very happy with my purchase. Barbie's house is compact enough to fit in my one bedroom apartment and doesn't take up space in my living room. My favorite part is the kitchen and entryway, but I wish the kitchen had more accessories like milk/juice bags. I also wish there were more barbie bed covers. I'm a little worried about durability because I've noticed that the second floor isn't that durable, especially where the bathroom is, but if I do it carefully I'm sure it will hold up. Dad helped me assemble it, it took about half an hour. I also love home accessories, especially the sofa. I'm in love with the pink sofa! It feels premium even from a plastic Barbie perspective. You can tell they tried to replicate the leather sofa. The last thing I would like to add is that while this house is very nicely foldable and compact, not all accessories can be stored in it. I had to take a small box to store kitchen, living room, accessories. Such as kitchen table, coffee table, sofa, picnic table. Luckily, small items like a saucepan, kettle, plates, cups, hair dryer and more can be stored in the kitchen fridge/oven or even snapped into the stovetop for some time... And stored in a nice dressing table too. Overall I love my Barbie Malibu house 👍***UPDATE*** After 6 months of owning this Barbie Malibu house the house is still holding up great and I finally figured out how to store all the accessories inside, in which you just had to organize it a certain way. I should have mentioned this earlier in my review but I'm completely blind and have cerebral palsy so it probably took me longer to figure it out lol. However, I first place the kitchen table in the kitchen, then fold the chairs and place them next to the kitchen table. I put the coffee table on the kitchen table and then the sofa on the chairs/kitchen table/coffee table. It's messy, but everything is held together well. No more boxes for accessories! I also bought the whole thing from the Barbie store, a pink toy box for my dolls, which can also be found here on Revain. Just search for "Barbie Store It All” 😂
