I'm an IDIOT and didn't read the reviews before buying. Then I skip the return period because it's "Cuisinart" what its quality means and what can go wrong, right? NOT RIGHT! This literal hunk of HANK barely ground through a single can of soft chickpeas while attempting to make hummus. There's NOTHING to ask, but this little shit started to heat up, smelled like hot gear, and shook so hard I had to hold it down to get through the 60 seconds of "grinding". To be honest I could have done better with a mortar and pestle (rock bowl and crusher) and it would have been easier and less traumatic (I thought that thing was going to explode or something!). moral of the story. DO NOT waste your money (or your hopes and dreams that a food processor will solve all your chopping/chopping/blending problems). Buy something else. And try it in the returns window like a responsible online shopper. <3
