Print quality is good. It's not a terrible printer, but problems are manufactured on purpose to force users to buy toner when they don't need it, and the ControlCenter 4 software leaves a lot to be desired. prints only in black and white for about a month and then forces you to buy a toner cartridge. This is absolutely annoying, even if you only print in black and white mode, the printer won't let you print in black and white mode without a cartridge anymore. It's only listed in a small ad on the support site, but it's a software-driven feature that forces owners to buy expensive color toner even when they don't need it. The ControlCenter 4 software is very buggy. We've been using Control Center 3 for probably 12 years, and 4 is actually worse. There is no way to remove old printers from the software. So if you reinstall them, you'll have old non-working printers/scanners in the control center and you can't remove them. So the actual print quality is good. They heat up pretty quickly and should be a good all-in-one for a small office. But the Brother overlords who programmed crappy features into these printers to force them to buy toner are worth a huge discount and I will seriously consider using Brother again the next time my company gets a new one printer needed.
