Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

Everything written below is only my experience, I do not pretend to be true! Charter from used 24-70 of the first version, which I started to play after 200,000 runs (and there were 4 different years of production), they always washed some corner and in general, I bought this tamron with the thought: well, I’ll kill a year and sell it with a mileage of 300,000 - but on a guarantee, I will lose 20 thousand in total. And stayed with him. He photographed in the "one day in kindergarten" format, shooting up to 20,000 frames per week, with a total shot per year of more than 300 thousand. Despite the fact that autofocus seems slower than the original, it seemed to me very tenacious and confident - even at 2.8 it allowed me to confidently shoot dynamics in the tracking mode. At the same time, of course, there was a marriage, but 2 times less than for relatives 24-70, which, although fast, more often "flew". Often I poked a lens hood into the door jambs (the camera is on my stomach, in the hands of a flash, you know) - without consequences. In the middle of the second season, I decided that I had enough gardens and stopped taking new orders, so the run stopped at 450 thousand. After that, I moved to my native Hong Kong and started shooting landscapes with this lens. It turned out that everything is fine with landscape sharpness - it is not inferior to 14-24 2.8 at all, and I like the tamron even more in terms of color reproduction. So this lens was prescribed for me "until the end", I'm not going to change it for anything. I took my younger brother to Sonya - 28-75, and was not disappointed either. I have so many photos of it that I don't even know what to post. Maybe I'll edit my review and add it in the future.

Pros
  • Focusing accuracy in conjunction with the d750. Sharpness at all apertures (even at 2.8 it is very sharp, you can work safely). Reliability (my lens has already run more than 450,000 frames). Good construction, didn't loosen at all despite very hard use (constant rotation of the zoom back and forth). Dust protection is sufficient (small dust particles appeared, of course, but nothing criminal). In comparison with the native lens is shorter. There is a stub, it works. I like the picture more than on Nikkor - the blur is less nervous, at 70 / 2.8 subjectively it even looks more "expensive". The colors are nicer, the transition to blur is smooth, without coarse mess. Backlight holds very well, there were practically no conditions when foreground objects lost contrast too much.
Cons
  • The zoom band is swollen (but with my sweaty hands, this trouble haunts all lenses and cameras). In comparison with the native lens, it’s dumb to shoot in the rain - it always seems that the outgoing trunk is pumping water. The stub works, but it does not catch the stars from the sky. Large filter size. Thick bandura. Even with my big hands, it's not the standard of convenience.
