Lamp works great in Epson EX71 but is significantly brighter than original lamp. This is normal, but there are areas in video games that are now too dark to see, and movies have weird dark spots that are just too dark to see, causing the brightness to increase and the Contrast needs to be reduced. For the price, it's hard to argue. that you don't get what you pay for. This will be acceptable until it dies, and I decided to upgrade to a 1080p model, but if you need brightness for a dimly lit room, consider Epson's OEM lamp.
