Thick and super warm

The blanket has a nice quality. The fabric is not satin but soft cotton. The fabric itself is thick. Just wanted to warn you that this comforter is really thick and better suited for apartments in places where it gets really cold (snow and stuff). Extremely warm. Love it. Mind you, due to the sheer thickness and size, I don't think it's possible or advisable to wash king and king sizes in home washers and dryers.
