design flaw! Kitchen & Dining

My food doesn't get very warm in this thermos. The big problem, however, is the inner lid. It has some sort of button in the middle which I think should be a pressure vent, but it allows water to seep into the lid when I (hand) wash it. Now when I pour hot liquid into the thermos and close the lid, it starts squirting soapy water out of this knob. This happens even if the lid was left open to dry completely. I cannot recommend this thermos. I just tried a Stanley thermos and it kept my food a lot warmer and I didn't have that problem with the lid.
