Review on Universal Ceiling Fan Wall Control Switch Kit - Wall Mounted Replacement for Honeywell, Prominence Home, Hunter, Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fans with Lights (Gang Box Not Included) by John Hall

This review is for a device with a remote control in the shape of a small egg with a receiver. The device works well and controls the fan speed. However, I cannot dim the light. I have tried both incandescent and dimmable LEDs but they are ON/OFF only. The instructions don't say how to control the brightness, so I leave the light button on like my other dimmable fan remotes I've had for years. Remember these remotes use 12V 23A batteries, not the regular AA, AAA or 9V batteries used in most remotes. I had one of the three units I purchased that failed on day one, but ordering a replacement was easy enough.
