We bought these to complement our dream car to cover the inside and outside of a two story home of about 3,200 square feet. With the dream car and two of them, one on each floor at opposite ends of the house from the dream car, we get a 97%+ signal everywhere in our house, 96%+ in the garage and 70% in the middle. outside in our yard more than 100 meters. If you've managed to get Dream Machine working, that's no problem. A UniFi mesh system is more than a typical home Wi-Fi system, so adding it to a network is a little more than a regular power strip. Not much more, and as said, if you already have a Dream you will have no problem adding it with the software you already use for it. They also make a good night light if you want! You can turn off the light using the software on your phone or computer if you don't want to turn it on. Thanks to the included flat socket cover, it fits snugly against the wall and doesn't stick out nearly as much as our old Wi-Fi extenders. Overall I am very satisfied despite only 2 days of intensive use!
