Review on Astromania H-Alpha Night Sky Filter - Ideal for Enhancing Astronomical Observations - 1.25" Size by Josh Cooper

Revainrating 1 out of 5

H-Alpha is more like H-Omega, everything you see is dark and no nebula

Pretty useless filter, like Alstar, which I also have. And returned. Those cheap poops are all worthless and compared to the Orion 1.25" Ha Extra Narrow Band it's just a waste of money. Save a dime, buy something else, not cheap (and useless) crap, because cheap and useful crap exists just not that ha

Pros
  • The filter is used as an extreme filter against light pollution and for contrast enhancement of emission nebulae and other astronomical objects that are bright in the infrared range. .
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared
