Update 7/31/19: We've had this chair for a little over 4 months now and my husband finally disassembled the chair to fix it. Only to find that the bearing assembly on the slider is completely blown out. I am trying to contact the seller for a replacement part. The assembly was quite simple and straightforward. I was able to assemble it myself at 8 months pregnant. It was convenient out of the box and looked great! The ottoman is great! The footrest is very comfortable for breastfeeding and the back of the chair is the perfect height. This is where the good review ends. The seat cushion was not long in coming. This is very harsh and uncomfortable for a postpartum mother trying to breastfeed and pump her baby. The arm pads could be a bit thicker, but they're not bad. The worst thing about this chair is the horrible squeak of the wood as it sways. It keeps waking my 2 month old and making useless rocking opportunities. We've tried everything from WD40 to tightening and loosening the base and IT. WILL NOT. BREAK! I would happily spend a little more money for something nicer.
