Review on πŸ”² Alvin Stainless Rounded Corner Non-skid by Jeffrey Sanders

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Sharpens without much effort.

Story: I'm a graphic designer and I needed a new cork backed line. Well this one seemed to fit the build. Well, when it arrived the ruler seemed a bit pliable, but that's not the main issue. After a few hits with my exacto knife at an angle, the ruler started shedding, I didn't realize it was very sharp because of that. So, I keep reaching for the ruler, and don't you know, the ruler cut my hand pretty badly. So I'll take a bigger line than this. Pros: It's cheap, it's cork backed. Ideal for pencils or most uses. Cons: When you use it to level a precision knife or other sharp object, you inevitably sharpen the edge of the ruler to the cutting edge. Very flexible and quite easy to bend. Overall I think this is not a buy unless you need it from time to time rather than daily.

Pros
  • SAFE LINES. Thanks to the stopper that raises the ruler, you can draw a fine line without smearing the paper.
Cons
  • Don't remember
