We bought these shoes for my daughter for her birthday. The shoes have only been worn a few times and in that time my daughter has fallen several times. IMPORTANT - Do not purchase these shoes if your home is not carpeted. Shoe soles don't have traction and when I say no, I mean no. At the same time, my daughter, like all children, decided to jump into a pair of these shoes, and one of them broke in half. Keep in mind that she probably only wore this pair of shoes 3 or 4 times and they broke in half (she fell badly but was fine). My daughter is not a big kid and that surprised me. I'm a safety engineer and I'll admit my mistake, I wouldn't recommend any child to buy this shoe (not even counting the risk of sprains due to the higher heel).
