I recently bought a used clipless pedal bike and wanted to swap them for a platform. I'm a size 12 and wish the pedals were bigger. I bought these after buying Chesters which was a big disappointment. I live in the Pacific Northwest and it was a dry day but there was still some moisture on the ground. I had to constantly check the position of my feet because I slipped. Not with one-ups. The grip is incredible even on wet roads. No matter how I place my foot or how wet it is, my feet feel locked in. The lug distribution and pattern on the nylon surface does the job much better than the smooth surfaced chests.
