Worked great for a month and then velcro stopped working

These braces worked very well for my chondromalacia patella that I was recently diagnosed with. It was the first time I have ever wore a knee brace after recently being diagnosed. They worked like magic with my pain subsiding with use. However, after one month of daily use the Velcro stopped holding and they would open up with a slight bend of the knee. They can no longer be used. I am now on a search for a brace that will give me the same results but that will last more than a month.
