nothing special. It works well but not very well on my coarse beard. A big minus, you have to go through the same place over and over again, it rubs. Pros: light, portable, everything is fine. If you're considering buying a more expensive electric shaver, you should know that over the years I've found that none of them work very well, from wet/dry shavers to expensive batteries, none of them shave. better than this machine. All of them are expensive and in terms of shaving they don't deliver better results than a $15-20 battery powered razor. So save money and buy. Keep it in the car to touch up on your shave or for a few days when you just don't want to use the blade anymore. Lower your expectations.
