One and a half years battle with algae solved. 120 gallon system with biopellet reactor. After manual removal of all existing algae, the specified amount was administered every other day for about 3 weeks, after 4 weeks all algae disappeared. 1/2 metered directly into the biopellet reactor inlet, and the other 1/2 by volume into the Love Rock sump with the skimmer off for 3-8 hours depending on my schedule at home. Tip: If you are over 16 oz. One bottle for the duration of treatment, it was a lot cheaper to order multiple 16oz bottles compared to a 32/64oz bottle. Larger pitchers have increased greatly in price. Mind you I stopped dosing cold turkey once the algae problem went away and I had another flare up 2 weeks later. Once weekly dosing may be required to maintain bacterial levels. Apex ORP mirrored dosing and skimming on/off, so at least there is a measurable effect. Didn't affect PH.
