I bought these 1 ounce cups because most liquids are about 2 tablespoons per ounce by weight. Since most cleaners are now so concentrated that you don't even need anywhere near the recommended dose, I decided to try them out with my Persil cleaner. For small to medium loads, I use 1/2 of that cup, which equals 1 tablespoon; If I'm making a large batch, then I "can" add up to a full ounce (two (2) tablespoons). Clothes come out clean and smell great. The 150 ounce bottle of laundry detergent I bought that says 75 downloads can actually turn into 300 downloads if I do all 1 tablespoon downloads. These mugs are perfect and I love that they are crystal clear so you can accurately measure half a cup. I will buy it again when it's time for an exchange!
