I do not recommend this product. It was a hassle to put it on the car door, when it finally got stuck I noticed the glue was all over the edge of the door and was very visible. After a few days the dirt stuck to the glue and these stains were everywhere. So I removed it with gue-away but it kept coming back. The strips didn't stick very well and after two months I got tired of pressing the strips against the edge of the door again and yes I was still removing the adhesive. Finally, I used a tar remover to get rid of the sticky glue residue on the edge of the car door. This product was not helpful to prevent possible shock as it is too narrow and thin to use.
