Review on Step2 545200 MailMaster Plus Mailbox in Stone Gray - Enhanced Search-Engine Optimization by Eli Saumell

I'm a bit disappointed with this mailbox. It wasn't easy to install as I had to dig a 2ft hole to put the box in. Then the box didn't just slide over the post like I thought it would. It's more like the box fits on three sides of the pole and doesn't sit completely on top of the wooden pole. I assume this is because the wood is very square and the inside of the formed post is slightly rounded at the front corners. There is a plastic flap on the back of the rack that is bolted to the wood, but the cover does not close off the entire rack - top to bottom or side to side. The design could have been better, but I've been walking around and looking behind some of the neighbors' boxes and some of them didn't even have a cover on the back of the pole. There was a bare tree. I used treated wood so the rain wouldn't damage it.
