It's not worth it.
I did not purchase this product from Revain but bought it from Fry. I've used this on three different cameras, each with the same result. I've used it on the 60D, 5DMkII and 5DMkIII and every time I hit the record button it registers twice so the recording starts and stops and I'm left with a one second clip. It almost never gets to the point where it just records non-stop. I figured if I clicked it as fast as possible and then aimed at it, it wouldn't register a second click, but it doesn't. Haven't tried the Canon IR remote yet, but I would recommend avoiding this product.
