Great little camera for the back of your RV without the hassle of wiring. You still need to connect the camera to a power source (reverse lights if you want it to only turn on during backup). The picture is clear and consistent, a good moving picture without pixelation. I use mine as a "rear view mirror" aka "always" on the back of my toad. The distance that connects it is great. I even experimented with separating them and driving away and I got a good 60-70 feet before losing signal. My 34ft RV with an unrestricted jeep in the rear works great. The camera also gives you two wiring options - a straight cable or a cigarette lighter adapter. Which is very convenient, you get 2 cigarette adapters, one for the camera and one for the display. The display will show a "Wi-Fi signal strength icon" to let you know how good your connection is. Connecting the camera to the display is automatic and requires no pairing. When the camera and base are close enough to connect, they will start working automatically.
