Says it comes from 0-200 proof, which it does. Unfortunately, this does not measure the alcohol content, but the sugar. The only way to use this is to use it on sugar free spirits to make the tube sink to the bottom. However, as a home brew, almost all beers contain sugar, meaning it's floating in liquid. When I tried to measure my homebrew (which according to gravity readings was 7%, which would be Proof 14), not only did it not register on the dial, it was about half an inch below 0 on the dial though, even at room temperature the gravity. The reading was 1.03 when I used this. That said, there's no more sugar than store-bought juice, and it couldn't read the alcohol content. Useless
