The quality is excellent, in particular: 1. Solder easily and quickly sticks to the contacts2. The insulating plastic between the contacts does not melt or deform3. The metal cap is very good, the shrink wrap is a bonus (hang a candle if you don't have a hair dryer at home), don't buy a similar product with a plastic cap. Pay attention to the headphone wiring, although most headphones these days use the left/right/ground/mic order, older headphones may use left/right/mic/ground. If your mic is broken but you only want to use it for speakers, you can short ground and mic together so the PC or phone doesn't see the mic but the mic doesn't pick up anything. (PC and phone check microphone bias, if it's at ground level it uses its own microphone instead of an external one)
