So my dad lost his 2001 Gmc Jimmy hat. I got sick so I ordered 1 day. He fit right in. Others should be aware that the plastic pin (so you don't lose it) doesn't fit my model. So I took out a pin and used the one he had on his hat. This tag thing has a hole it slipped through and bam worked. Of course you can buy a plastic pin if you don't have one. Also, it has nothing to do with the header. The lid fit so well that I found the original which I had lost. This is still saved. Make sure the gas cap has those two holes and it should work. But the 2001 gmc jimmy is perfect for a cheap fix to the problem I've been causing by the rush.
