It was a fantastic purchase! I wanted an espresso machine to make fancy cafe style drinks but didn't want to spend a fortune as I'm new to espresso at the moment. I know it's not technically espresso, but it still makes a very tasty coffee. I chose stainless steel because of the health concerns associated with using aluminum. Some of the adjustments I've made to this counter per the instructions given are: 1) I wash it with soap and water after use, 2) I pour hot water on the floor instead of cold; this seems to keep the thick flavor from sticking, and 3) I take the pan off the stove and set it on a cold towel when it's 80% done; This prevents overheating and improves flavor in my opinion. I highly recommend it to all coffee lovers.
