Review on Relieve Muscle Pain & Aches With Carex Bed Buddy Heat Pad And Cooling Neck Wrap by Catherine Maldonado

The BEST neck wrap, hot or cold!

Does your neck hurt in the morning? At night? Got a sore muscle in your arm? A bad migraine? Anywhere your body could use a little moist heat, or a cold pack, this is what you need. The Bed Buddy heats up in 1.5 minutes in the microwave (depends a little on the power of your microwave) and is the perfect length for wrapping around your neck or other parts of body. (Just be careful not to overheat it, the stuff inside gets too hot and burns the outer material.) Not sure how they came up with the handles, but they are remarkably useful. Hard to describe just how, but when you get one, you'll see. I have a number of hot and cold packs, but this is the only one that really feels good as a neck wrap. Not only is it long enough it also has just enough volume to sit properly against the neck.Yes, I have four of them. Sometimes I use two at a time. I also have one in my travel bag. That leaves just one for my partner to use!A downside is that it doesn't come with any sort of cover. After a bit of use the outer material can get sort of grubby, and you can't wash it without damaging the stuff inside (which is a grain, like barley). So I wrap it in a towel. Or cut the sleeve off an old lumberjack shirt and slide it inside that, and Voila, a plaid neck wrap!Truly, I love these things. Excellent for nipping migraines in the bud: use a hot one on your neck and another on the forehead. Yes, I always wanted cold on migraines, but try these hot -- it really works.

Pros
  • The heat pad and neck wrap can provide instant relief for muscle pain, aches, and tension, making it a convenient solution for those who suffer from chronic pain or frequent discomfort
Cons
  • Heating pad may cause damage to the microwave if not used correctly
