Like other reviewers have mentioned - I've used this as a (supposedly match) replacement for Hayward CX250RE PA25-4 filter. I had to trim the inner diameter of the center hole to get it to fit into the filter in a way that the filter would seal and not leak. So this is NOT an exact relacement for that filter - however, beyond that the filter seems to work fine. But if you don't want to trim some plastic to get it to fit - PASS on this one for a replacement filter. If you don't mind doing a little extra to make it fit fit correctly - it's acceptable.
