This fan responds very well to PWM, accelerating and decelerating fairly linearly (at least as linearly as a forced-air fan can be) without making too much noise and air injection. I've been pretty quiet and produce a lot of air, have used 3 different fans on the printer in the past, one failed after 2 months and the other 2 weren't suitable for PWM, we'll see how long-lasting this one will be, but I can say that it does a very good job with PWM and I will do a running test in the near future and update the results
