If you're looking for an entry-level "green" style, you'll be disappointed - not green! Apparently made in Russia, but everything seems fine. Good value - Rock Auto has the same starter for $75 plus shipping. The fit is good - there are no issues with the insides. After 2 days from the start it works perfectly. If it fails within 50,000 miles we will come back and update. One final thought: I had a caulking gun-sized tube of RTV Red, and I sealed all the seams to keep the oil out -- maybe a futile effort, but I tried. The Jeep 4.0L engine has 293,000 miles and is leaking some oil from the oil filter bracket. The oil filter sits just above the starter and drips onto the starter. For now, with good performance in 2 days and shipping under $60, this seems like a reasonable risk. 4 stars overall because it's still early.
