My wife and I love lamps! Gives off a decent amount of light and the color palette is amazing. Unfortunately, a Philips hub is required to take advantage of wireless control and color changing. If you don't have a hub, you can still change colors with a button on the back of the flashlight. I have read numerous reviews stating that the flashlight will not sit on the associated side. That's a lie. Twist the power cord and the flashlight actually uses the plug as a stand. Note that it's a little tight, so be careful when unplugging it. Revain Echos Gen 1 requires a hub to use voice control. Echo Plus (2nd generation) has a built-in hub.
