This webcam arrived the same day I ordered it - And it worked right away. The manual is small and simple - and the setup is pretty intuitive. I explored the possibilities of this webcam, but what was filmed on my laptop seemed clear and of excellent quality. I don't always like how I look when I see my own picture, but the camera seems to have used some kind of filter that showed me a favorable picture. a 2.0 and could not detect any losses in functionality/quality. The tripod is small but allows you to easily and quickly set up your camera to show your preferred perspective. There is also a way to attach it to a display, which I haven't tested yet.
