Review on πŸͺ‘ Allsteel Mimeo Black Onyx Task Chair by Kevin Swier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am not sure. Not the quality I expected for the price.

The box arrived open. There were clearly three different strips of tape along the seam of the box. There was no indication that it could be a return such as: B. an old packing slip/address label, so I have to assume that's how it came from the manufacturer/seller. The chair base and hydraulic cylinder looked like they had been thrown in a box after a thought. They were in a box, dirty, they had no packing material. The frame of the chair looked used. It had mud colors, markings, or something else that couldn't be explained by the packaging or shipping. I really should have stopped right here. The only other thing in the box was the frame of the chair, which came with packing material and cardboard. The assembly was very easy. All you had to do was insert the cylinder into the base and then assemble the chair frame while sitting on the chair. The quality of this chair is poor. While it's comfortable, ropes dangle from the underside and the chair cover appears off-center from the padding underneath. The material of the chair seems suitable for a single user home office, but it seems much inferior to the chairs I've sat in at work in this price range. If this chair sold for a few hundred dollars it would probably be a good deal. It seems to have some nice adjustment features, like lumbar support and a seat that slides in and out, but the overall quality of the chair leaves a lot to be desired. The levers on the bottom of the chair feel cheap. If it had been anything other than a Vine purchase it would have been repackaged and returned immediately. Not what I expected given the description in the ad.

Cons
