Mounting tape too thin
Mounting tape is too thin and if you don't line up the guards EXACTLY the first time the tape won't hold them. I retaped mine with thicker 3M Extreme Tape and they seem to stick in place. Thicker tape gives more freedom of action. However, they are of good quality and look good on the jeep. They will only fit the Wrangler "JL" model with standard taillights (they will not fit LED light retrofits).
