Review on ACDelco D1523H Original Equipment Instrument by David Finley

Needed to replace the headlight lighting control unit. I chose the ACDelco part based on some feedback on some other aftermarket OEM units that are not functionally identical to the ACDelco part. This part is made in Mexico and appears to be used on export models. It is marked as "Export Application". .probably for GM trucks only made and sold in Mexico. Bottom line, the part fits perfectly and works like a factory original. I gave it one star because the finish and feel of the Mexican part is a notch below the US made GM original and the color match is slightly different from the original Charcoal and Light Gray. Small things, but when I paid over $70 for this piece, I expected more. Installation is very easy and you can find many instruction videos online; For a typical home mechanic, the replacement shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes.
