Review on Custom Accessories 16008 Billet Shift by Paul Rosemark

I use this on my 2000 Honda Insight. I've been using it for over a week now and it works great. I see some other people affected by this, hope it doesn't happen to me. Pros: Looks and feels fantastic. Secret storage compartment. Cons: Complicated installation. let me explain. So, it comes with 2 different sized plastic inserts. These inserts have teeth on one end that you need to thread through the derailleur bolt. There are literally no threads there, you have to push and twist it yourself to thread those plastic teeth through your derailleur. The installation process should be 1) Insert a 5/16 or 7/16 tooth insert into the shift knob. They do the teeth first to get the best leverage and put the least stress on the teeth. 2) Tighten the shift knob screws around the insert to hold it in place. 3) Screw everything onto your derailleur by screwing on the teeth. This shift knob has worked great for me so far, but I'll definitely edit this review if it lets me down.
