I used to draw several drawings by numbers and they were all on durable cardboard. That was the first thing I did that got rolled up. The canvas is actually a piece of paper, but it is thick and strong enough. However, it is crumpled at the ends, even after trying to straighten it out. I hope that when I frame it I can smooth it out. The color lay flat. It came with everything you need to get started. The numbers on it are dark, so it's easier to see but harder to hide. I really like to do it. It's a great activity for times like this when you can use a mental break, and for me, a computer break too. The picture is beautiful to look at and has a lot of blue in it. I think it will look nice when finished. I would do it again. I appreciated the note that came with it. They seem to be taking the extra step of valuing consumers as much as they do artists.
