Review on 🌊 Skog Å Kust DrySåk Waterproof Floating Dry Bag - Ultimate Gear for Water Sports, Camping, and Outdoor Activities! by Troy Hamilton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality waterproof bag, especially for the price. I would have liked the outside pocket to be a bit bigger.

I try to go to the pool five days a week. Most of the time I carry my keys, mobile phone and bathing card, a towel and maybe a change of clothes with me. In my other hand, I find a way to carry two foam bars and pool noodles. It became too much to carry around and it didn't feel like it was all together. Safety wasn't a big issue as people using this pool bring bags and other essentials and leave them on the pool deck or on one of the benches around this outdoor pool. It was still a bit annoying to leave valuables lying around, so the need for a bag like this arose. I've used it many times so far and I think it will wear well and it's definitely waterproof enough for my use. I'm sure it will protect items that need to remain waterproof during an unexpected summer rainstorm (I'm in South Florida) and I can pick it up later when the storm hits. The interior of the DrySak main body is well made and large enough for many items. I received size 20L. The only weakness I found with this design is that I wish the outside zippered pocket was slightly larger by about an inch or two. The pool cards are sized to be tucked under the top of the bag over the zip. Add to that a smartphone that also has to be squeezed into this bag, and there's simply no room for anything else. The keys fit normally, but in the outside pocket with other items it becomes tight and uncomfortable. I sometimes carry a small Kindle with me, and it should always fit in the bulk of my bag, where it sits with a damp towel. The same with the keys. This look defeats the purpose of the bag being waterproof. If the bag were folded somehow and stood out from the rest of the bag by an inch or two, maybe more bag-worthy small items could be stored. . Or an increase in the north-south dimension? It's hard to wish for a better bag at this price point. I'm sure I'll take a lot from it. It's well built, quality material and I love the clasp at the top. You flip it three times and fasten it with the included plastic buckle. I use the side strap configuration and it sits comfortably diagonally across the back with the strap running across the front of the torso. I see people admiring the bag when it's on the edge of the pool. You can get more orders from other people I swim with.

Pros
  • QUICK ACCESS TO KEYS AND ID: Splashproof outer pocket with zipper for safe storage of small essentials. Whether you're kayaking, hiking, or relaxing on the beach, you can easily get what you need without rummaging in your bag.
