Bought these light strips and thought about hanging them on children's bunk beds for a reading lamp at night, but they are not that bright. They are bright enough for ambient or backlight but not bright enough to read underneath. They come with 3 micro USB cables and 3 sets of screws and anchors. This is in addition to the magnetic/adhesive strips. In case you are wondering, the rechargeable cell is a lithium ion polymer cell and cannot be easily replaced. One of my light strips arrived with a loose IR sensor cover. No big deal and I was able to fix it with a little hot glue. However, the lid doesn't seem to fit all the way and feels a little wobbly even after removing the old glue and applying the new glue. Subsequent examination of the other strips showed that they were all the same. What I definitely like the most is the ability to turn them all on and off at the same time with the remote control. I ended up using them in the kitchen under the cabinets and at night they add a nice touch of light to the countertops. With the remote control you can set the timer to 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes, as well as adjust the brightness of the strips. I think they are good for accent lighting but not for general lighting.
