I do love these poi. I think they're worth the price, very high quality, HOWEVER.If you've never tried poi or other flow arts before, this is not the set for you. You need to create a foundation with a lighter set of poi before you jump to silk veil poi. You will hit yourself. It will hurt. These balls are very heavy, and you should start with something lighter. And, veil poi are harder to work with if you don't have a foundation in poi. They're longer, heavier, etc. Use something lighter with no flags. You can still do fun tricks, and your time for the flags will come. However, for an intermediate poi artist, go ahead, it's a great product.
