This shoe has held up well to typical 8 years of energy and activity, which is a lot more than I can say of the last brand we tried. My child finds the very large width very comfortable and likes to wear the shoes. The only downside is the round laces which make it difficult to keep them tied, especially for kids who are new to lacing. This became an opportunity to learn about double knots in our home. After disappointments with other brands we will review this shoe in the next size up in due course.
