Hair holds very well. I've had them since the beginning of April and today is June 22nd. I bought this hair to practice sewing and it was perfect. I don't do much with my hair, but when I've washed it I've never had a problem. When it gets super curly I think it really is STRAIGHT hair. This will probably be my go-to supplier for sleek buns due to the durability of the hair. I did myself 3 stylings with the same hair (don't judge harshly, I'm not a stylist and I know how to wash my hair when I'm uncomfortable and when I think it stinks) I haven't noticed any hair loss with this one hair it holds the curl well. I use thermal protectant and leave it in a conditioner mist. In the photos (white shirt, April and May, swimming pool with my daughter, mid-May, red dress and braids, June 2018), the wavy braid looks like it has been washed.
